Biography
Dorothy provides statistical expertise and advice for the unit. She currently works on several major research projects held at CAHRU; the International health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) study, including the Scottish HBSC survey, the Physical Activity in Scottish Schoolchildren Study (PASS) and the Changes in Child Exposure to Environmental Tobacco Smoke (CHETS) study. Dorothy was statistician on the Scottish Adolescent Lifestyle and Substance Use Survey (SALSUS) when this was held at CAHRU. Dorothy's original background was in population genetics. After retraining as a statistician her work prior to joining CAHRU involved medical statistics and consultancy.
