1976 (Amendment) REGULATIONS 2003
These regulations extend the Race Relations Act 1976 to cover harassment on grounds of race or ethnic or national origins, but not colour or nationality. Racial harassment is defined as being where a person on grounds of race, ethnic or national origins, subjects another person to unwanted conduct which has the purpose or effect of violating that person’s dignity, or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for that person.
