Minority Ethnic Pupils’ Experiences of School in Scotland (MEPESS)(2005)

Approaches to Recording, Analysing, Monitoring and Responding to Racist Incidents in Scottish Education Authorities and Schools-Summay report (2005)

This report provides an initial national picture on how racist incidents are recorded, monitored and used to develop anti-racist practice within education authorities in Scotland.


Mainstreaming the Terms of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 some Scottish Local and Education Authorities (2004)

This report looked at the possibilities and obstacles encountered in meeting the general and specific duties of the Act in eight local authority education services.


Supporting and Sustaining the Mainstreaming of Race Equality in Scottish School Education (2004)

This report records what education officers within local authorities thought were the key measures required to ensure race equality would be mainstreamed and sustained in school education. 15 of the 32  Scottish authorities took part in this exercise and their views and advice are collated in the report.
