Brandi Lee Dennell (Doctoral student/research assistant)
* Brandi will be taking a rest from CERES from April 1st 2008 to enable her to finish her PhD.
Prior to working with CERES, Brandi Lee graduated with a BA from Brandeis University in Mass. USA, and a Masters in Research from the University of St. Andrews in Social Anthropology. Currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Edinburgh, she brought this anthropological knowledge to her research when she joined CERES in March 2006.
Her work with CERES focuses on research into good practice for accommodating religious needs in schools, working with Alan Bell in servicing the Equality and Diversity Education Officers Network Scotland (EDEONS) as well auditing the impact of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 on Scottish education authorities and schools
