Edna Sommerville (Administrator)
Prior to joining the University in 1986 Edna was a legal secretary. In 1991 she became secretary to the two projects which share premises in the University Institute of Education: the Centre for Education for Racial Equality in Scotland (CERES) and the Scottish Traveller Education Programme (STEP). Since 1st October 2003 Edna works solely for CERES.
Edna's job is wide-ranging including communications with the many other agencies and individuals with which CERES is in contact; with the Director she plans, organises and co-manages the considerable number of seminars and projects that CERES undertakes.
Edna is available to take queries on Tuesdays (9.00 – 3.30) and on Thursdays (9.00 – 3.30).
