Luke Padfield (Research Assistant)
* Luke is currently studying abroad in France (Sept 2007- August 2008)
Luke has been working as a Research Assistant for CERES. As a student of Law at the University of Edinburgh, Luke’s attention is focused on the rationale for and effects of the introduction and implementation of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 on Local Authorities and Educational Institutions within the UK.
His work has contributed to a number of projects within CERES by providing examples for: Local Authorities regarding best inclusive practice in Scottish schools and with Rowena Arshad, CERES Director on a Universities Scotland resource for mainstreaming race equality into learning and teaching in higher education.
