Following the overwhelming success of the IVACS International Conferences at the University of Limerick (2002, 2008), Queen's University Belfast (2004), and the University of Nottingham (2006), IVACS 2010 will be held at the University of Edinburgh. (using CL in conjunction with other methodologies, e.g. Discourse Analysis, Conversation Analysis, Critical Discourse Analysis); using CL to look at language in specific contexts, e.g. Media Discourse, Classroom Discourse, Workplace Discourse, Academic Discourse)
    • Corpus Linguistics and Sociolinguistics
