TESOL Graduates
..

The Moray House School of Education has been involved in the professional training and development of Teachers of English as a Second or Foreign Language for over 40 years. We provide a MSc in TESOL and a PhD in Education. We offer a comprehesive range of core and option courses.

Please Note: No further applications for TESOL-related research at PhD level are being accepted at this time. This affects applications for entrance requested in 2010.

Our Masters programme in TESOL is one of the largest in Britain. The TESOL teaching staff are involved in research and projects in a variety of areas and have published books and articles.

"... we've been involved in the professional training and development of Teachers of English as a Second or Foreign Language for over 40 years."

The Masters programme may be studied by contact (full-time or part-time) or mixed mode (part-time, half contact and half distance learning). If you study in contact mode you will have the opportunity to live in the City of Edinburgh (World City of Literature 2004 and home to the Edinburgh International Fesitval and Fringe). Students love Edinburgh's culture, history and architectural heritage as well as the accessibility of Scotland's beautiful countryside. The full-time contact degree programme is 12 months.
