TESOL to
|
Doctorate (PhD) level. Our Masters programme
in TESOL is one of the largest in Britain. The TESOL teaching staff are
involved in research and projects in a variety of areas and have published
books and articles.
"... we've been involved in the professional training

The Masters programme may be studied
by contact (full-time or part-time)
or mixed mode (part-time, half contact and half distance learning).
If you study in contact mode you will have the opportunity to live
in the City of Edinburgh (World City of Literature 2004 and home
to the Edinburgh International Fesitval and Fringe). Students love
Edinburgh's culture, history and architectural heritage as well
as the accessibility of Scotland's beautiful countryside. The full-time
contact degree programme is 12 months.

Mixed
Mode (Structured) study offers you
the opportunity to experience life in Edinburgh but you will also be
able to continue with your job during the academic year, cutting down
on costs. Mixed Mode runs for 18 months miminum.
There is also an exciting new course for those who do not yet
have the teaching experience necessary for the MEd TESOL: this
is the Pre-MEd
TESOL Access Course.

Our PhD students and
graduates come from countries as diverse as Bulgaria, Malaysia, Senegal
