"I'm on my flight back to Argentina, still remembering the very nice, warm moments I shared with you during the graduation ceremony and the celebration at Moray House. Never had I imagined the impact that the meeting and the ceremony had on me. It was at that time very difficult to express my feelings in words. Now I know I owe you an enormous gratitude for your help and your work during the time I studied at Edinburgh and for your warmth and kindness when we met for the first time face to face. Everything went beyond my expectations. I still think I did not deserve the honour and privilege I had on being invited to Moray House and on taking part in such a magnificent ceremony. I will remember these two days for ever. Studying at Edinburgh over the last six years made me change professionally but also, and even more importantly, personally. This experience has definitely become a turning point in my life. I hope I will be able to put my acquired expertise at the university to the service of others and that some day, in the future, I will be able to go back to Edinburgh for more enriching moments of study and personal growth.

My very best wishes to all of you,"

Rosana Tignanelli, Argentina

"I attended the M.Ed. TESOL programme at The Moray House Studying at Edinburgh University doesn't only mean to discover the Scottish way of life it also offers new perspectives and conversations with people from all over the world. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming that I felt at home from the very beginning on. Moreover, the university campus is right at the heart of Edinburgh city which is known for its beauty, history and cultural diversity -and justifiable so! Edinburgh University is rich in social, cultural and sporting facilities and whatever you are interest in doing, you will definitely find it there.

I found the experience of studying at Moray House School of Education an absolutely rewarding one and I'm convinced that a teaching degree from Edinburgh University is of great help for your future success. As for myself, I got the chance to work at the innovative centre for schools and modern technologies in Upper Austria where I'm mainly responsible for educational projects in connection with e-learning.

Looking back at this exchange year I can only recommend everyone to seize this chance! It was a unique experience and, honestly, one of the best years of my life and there are many pleasant moments which I'll always bear in my mind!"

Cornelia Leitner, Austria
