The department of Education and Society (DES) is rooted in Social Science
and its contribution to programmes at both
undergraduate/pre-service and postgraduate levels in the Moray House
School of Education reflects this emphasis. Major areas of teaching include
lifespan development, social processes, social science theory, research
methods, study skills, international education and management (including
arts management).
