SCROLLA's Advisory Committee comprised three permanent co-directors and three permanent external UK experts, together with annually appointed representatives from Scottish Higher Education Institutions, Schools and the Further Education sector, as well as from government agencies and corporate interests concerned with the educational community in Scotland. The centre also had a number of affiliated postgraduate students and several Associates working on relevant areas in Scottish universities and elsewhere.
