Digital Games in Education
SCROLLA Edinburgh held a one-day workshop at the Moray House School of Education on Monday 22 March 2004 to bring together interested participants from the educational and games design communities in the UK. There were contributions from several European projects and networks, with discussion of how wider research collaboration links can be cultivated and sustained.
Presentations during the course of the day reviewed a diversity of research, development and practice in the use of digital game-based learning for all sectors of education, including community and "informal" learning, with plenty of opportunity for discussion.
The workshop was supported by DIGRA, PACCIT, SCROLLA and SIG-GLUE. The following Powerpoint presentations are available:
- Michael Begg, David Dewhurst, Rachel Ellaway [479KB]
