Bursary Awards |
Burary Awards
Each year the Old Students’ Association
awards bursaries.
Congratulations to the winners of the 2008 bursaries:
Rachel Clark - winner
Heather Braid and Jill Kidd - runners up
Well Done to them !!
About the Bursary Award Scheme
In 1995, after much discussion in committee and with the then Director,
Mr David Bayman [who consulted College staff], it was decided to offer two
bursaries:
- 1) to pursue further development work concerned with the promotion
of excellence in teaching of physical education.
- 2) to undertake research and development work involving physical
education and community linked initiatives.
Since then each year we [speosa] have awarded two bursaries to 4th year
students. Every year we are delighted at the calibre of students being
presented. This makes our job very hard, but it is a joy to be involved
and reassuring that the standard remains so high.
