To study at postgraduate level, you need to have a first degree in an appropriate subject, or a qualification or experience which is accepted as equivalent.
The usual qualification you will need for admission to study for a research degree and for some Masters programmes is a first degree with an excellent or very good classification (equivalent to first or upper second class Honours in the UK).
If you are an international applicant you are also required to provide documentary
evidence of your written and spoken English skills. The English language
requirements can be found at the following web page www.hss.ed.ac.uk/Postgraduate/prospective/englang.htm
