The Moray House School of Education
has around 1000 postgraduate students on a wide range of research
degrees and taught masters programmes.
The Graduate School within the Moray House School of Education was established
to provide a focus for postgraduate education and to represent the needs
of postgraduate students within the School of Education. The School offers
postgraduate students excellent library, computing and study facilities
to the postgraduate body. Regular seminars help promote a stimulating research
environment for students and academic staff.

The aims of the Graduate School are to provide a resource for postgraduate
students that will ensure that the quality of the student experience is
maintained and enhanced:
- through the promotion of a supportive and stimulating learning environment
for postgraduate students;
- the School of Education continues to be at the forefront of graduate
education and research
The School of Education retains its status as one of the UK's most attractive
destinations for postgraduate study.
The School of Education is distinctive in that it includes teacher education,
adult and community education, outdoor and environmental education, and
physical education, sport and leisure studies. This diversity is reflected
in Research carried out by staff and postgraduate students.
The Graduate School is a developing and energetic focal point for much
of this work, which aims to bring staff and postgraduate students together
in shared social, educational and research events. It benefits greatly
