Modes
of Delivery / Fees / Entry |
Modes
of Delivery
Traditional:
The majority of courses are delivered in traditional format. This means that
the taught element of the course (24 hours) is delivered in contact mode on campus.
Blended Learning:
We are pleased to be able to offer the following courses by Blended Learning:
- Education for All
- Specific Learning Difficulties/Dyslexia
- Specific Learning Difficulties/ Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder and Specific Language Impairment
- Inclusive Curriculum for Pupils with Visual Impairment
- Assessing Pupils / Students with Visual impairment
A blended learning course involves part of the 24 hour taught element
delivered on campus and part accessed online from home or school. Dates
given under 'Course Dates' indicate which days are delivered on campus
and which are online. It is important that participants plan to undertake
the online study on or around the days indicated as online discussion will
be required with fellow participants. Please note the above courses are
only available by blended learning.
Technical requirements for blended learning:
To complete a course by blended learning participants require access to a computer
with broadband and a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari.
A PC should be Pentium 4 with Windows XP or above and a Mac should be G4 or
later with OSX 10.4 or above.

Applicants may be eligible for funding/part-funding from their local
