Abstract |
With
the advent of the Scottish parliament, this is a rapidly growing
research area within the faculty. Work has been concentrating on
how policy is made within Scotland, how it has an impact on education
and on society more generally, and how the content of policy is influenced
by diverse social forces. The methods used here typically include
social surveys, interviews (especially with people in power) and
analysis of policy documents. |
