Abstract

The ethos network aims to share experience and ideas about evaluating and developing a positive school ethos by involving parents, pupils and teachers. It develops research findings about the importance of school culture for pupils achievements and behaviour to support practical activities in schools. The network produces case studies of members work, organises roadshows and conferences, produces a newsletter and offers an award to the school judged to have done most to promote and sustain a positive ethos. The network has its own website.
