Abstract

As a mapping exercise, this research entails gathering information that re-visits earlier research conducted by STEP, which examined Gypsy/Traveller attendance at all schools in Scotland, over a five-year period in the early to mid 1990s. The main research objective will be to gather data through a mixed method approach that will include a combination of telephone enquiries and questionnaires designed to help schools and site-managers to extract relevant information from their records about Gypsy/Traveller children during the years.
