ESRC Seminar Series 2005 – 2007: 'An Integrated View
of Research in Autism: From Theory to Practice' |
Aims
This series was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. Its aims were:
(i) |
to foster a network of academic researchers from different disciplines
working in the area of autism spectrum disorders, in order to help
promote research integrating psychological, clinical and educational
perspectives. |
(ii) |
to support post-graduate students carrying out research into autism
spectrum disorders, by providing a forum for presenting work and
access to a network of researchers and practitioners. |
(iii) |
to provide the most up-to-date research findings about autism
spectrum disorders and promote opportunities for academic/practitioner
dialogue to the mutual benefit of both groups. |
