ESRC Seminar Series 2005 – 2007: 'An Integrated View of Research in Autism: From Theory to Practice'

Aims

This series was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. Its aims were:  

(i)

to foster a network of academic researchers from different disciplines working in the area of autism spectrum disorders, in order to help promote research integrating psychological, clinical and educational perspectives.

(ii)

to support post-graduate students carrying out research into autism spectrum disorders, by providing a forum for presenting work and access to a network of researchers and practitioners.

(iii)

to provide the most up-to-date research findings about autism spectrum disorders and promote opportunities for academic/practitioner dialogue to the mutual benefit of both groups.
